Frequently asked questions
How much is a 2015 Lincoln Mkz worth?
A 2015 Lincoln Mkz has a median retail value of $8,025, with most appraised between $6,234 and $9,621. At Copart and IAAI salvage auctions the same vehicles sold for a median of $1,150 across 75 recent sales — the middle 50% between $800 and $1,750.
Why is the 2015 Lincoln Mkz so cheap at auction?
Because auction lots are not retail cars. Most carry collision or flood damage, a salvage or rebuilt title, or are dealer-only liquidations sold as-is with no warranty. For the 2015 Lincoln Mkz that gap runs about 7.0× — $8,025 retail against a $1,150 auction median. The spread is the repair bill, the title brand, and the risk.
How accurate is this 2015 Lincoln Mkz value estimate?
Prices reflect live Copart and IAAI sale data from the last 180 days. They are most useful for: gauging salvage rebuild margins, comparing private-party asking prices to the auction floor, and spotting overpriced dealer listings. For a clean-title retail estimate use the depreciation calculator.
